The group synergy arising from being a 100 % subsidiary of Turkcell Group, together with the desired goals stated above sets Turkcell Superonline to become the most preferred network in the region. Bringing the world’s fastest Internet to Turkey simultaneously with the rollouts in other countries, Turkcell Superonline carries on investing at an unabated rate in order to turn the “Silk Road” into a “Fiber Road” by expanding its own infrastructure across Turkey with a fiber network stretching to every corner of the country.

Turkcell, of which Turkcell Superonline is a subsidiary, is the first company started the GSM-based mobile communication in Turkey and commenced operations in February 1994. Turkcell then signed a 25-year GSM license contract with the Ministry of Transportation on April 27, 1998. Since then, it has continuously increased the variety of its services based on mobile voice and data communication, as well as on its quality levels, and as a result, its number of subscribers.

Turkcell's shares have been traded on the Borsa Istanbul (BIST) and New York Stock Exchanges (NYSE) since July 11, 2000, and it is the only Turkish company to be listed on the latter exchange. Turkcell is also quoted on the Borsa Istanbul Sustainability Index.
 
Turkcell also has investments abroad. KKTCell, a 100%-owned subsidiary of Turkcell, was established in 1999 and operates within the framework of a revenue-sharing agreement with the Telecommunications Authority of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. lifecell, a company in Ukraine in which Turkcell holds a 100% stake, began operating in February 2005. Turkcell also acquired an 80% stake in BeST from the State Committee on Property of the Republic of Belarus in 2008.

Turkcell is one of the few distinguished operators in the world, as well as being the leading operator in Turkey providing 4G roaming in 140 destinations, and data roaming in around 200 destinations.

100 % subsidiary of Turkcell Group, Turkcell Superonline holds all the necessary authorizations listed below, granted by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICT) to act as a telecom operator:

Today, Turkcell Superonline has 55.000 km of fiber backbone covering 81 major cities of Turkey. With this strong infrastructure and the next generation network designed over this infrastructure as well as its experienced personnel enables Turkcell Superonline to deliver high quality solutions to telecom operators multinational and national private corporations and the governmental institutions.

Our new multi-layered network structure will definitely increase Turkcell Superonline’s services to a quality level that is going to be unmatched in the Turkish market and it will meet all telecommunication needs in the region. Turkcell Superonline rapidly continues its fiber optics infrastructure investments to form its dedicated transmission and IP backbones. The agreement made with BOTAŞ (natural gas & oil pipeline company of Turkey) in 2009 for the use of BOTAŞ right-of-ways and network increased the pace of investments.

Turkcell Superonline, that aims to transform Silk Road into Fibre Road, cooperates with over 70 international operators and has 13 border crossings in total. Turkcell Superonline takes important steps for evolving İstanbul into the world’s newest Internet base due to its geostrategic location. Accordingly, the company provides a bridge between east and west, which supplies a continuous connection with a speed of light, with the partnerships with the Tier-1 operators and projects such as RCN between Asia, Middle East and Europe which will extend from the city of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates to Istanbul in Turkey and then to Europe and will serve as a gateway to the Internet for 2 billion people.​
